Elder Brady's Motto

"I have desired that while serving a mission that I am to do God's will, not mine. If it is the will of God that I should spend my days proclaiming this Gospel and bearing testimony of these things, I shall think of myself highly privileged and honored. When the spirit of God is upon me, I think it matters very little what I suffer, and what I sacrificed - whether I secure the honor or dishonor of men, or where I die, if it so be that I can keep the faith, fight the good fight, and finish my course with joy, I have all eternity before me in which to enjoy myself."

Perfect Life

Things are sounding crazy in your neck of the woods! 8-day vacations, declining lake Powell, continuing to use the Brady home hotel, and babies all around! Those were some awesome pictures! Thanks for those! Looks like Lynds and Kris definitely have their hands full with and baby in their arms and two more car seats at their feet! Haha

Abby you are looking so grown up! It's crazy! I hope you are liking your time back at school with all your friends and loving your teacher! We live next to a school so there have been herds of people walking up and down the streets around here now that school is back in session! I still can't believe I finished that... very surreal. It goes by way too fast. Speaking of high school, it's good to hear Alta is still on top and progressing with likable coaches! ;)

So this week has been awesome for Elder Kunz and I. We are like best friends are everything right now is... perfect! Our area is awesome, I LOVE the people here, we have found a lot of people to teach that are progressing towards baptism, we just had a very successful baptism last week, Our zone is amazing and we love all our missionaries, we are always trying to make the time count because we have found that there is just not enough time in the day these days...

So with everything going perfect and all and we just love life, I feel like I have become extremely connected with people around here and maybe a little bit too comfortable? And judging from the past, when that happens, right when you feel like you know an area like the back of your hand and in the loop with everything that is going on, you get transferred... transfers are at the end of this week and we are hoping that we will be together for at least one more transfer because things are totally epic right now. And besides I have never been with a companion for only one transfer so I'd like to keep it that way ;) so cross your fingers for me. We’ll find out for sure soon.

We have some great things going right now in the Newhall 2nd ward. Every Sunday we have been giving trainings to different auxiliaries during the third hour about how to do missionary work and overcoming their fears of sharing the gospel with their friends. Yesterday we taught elders quorum and high priest group combined and next week we are teaching relief society haha. They like this message we share I guess. We have become pretty good at team-teaching these trainings. We will be having ZLC this Thursday from 9-5 again whoopee (sarcastic).... Then early morning meetings with the stake presidency again at 7, training our zone for 3 hours on Friday, setting up interviews with the missionaries in the zone... It's now starting to feel routine... haha but I love it.

Lastly, we got to go to the temple last Saturday and see an investigator family get sealed after he baptized them a year ago! That was an awesome experience and a sweet opportunity to go to the temple again, unexpectedly.

Oh! And we just finished hanging out with the zone again today at the park playing games! They love it when we schedule these fun activities all the time.

Love you all and have a great week!

Love, Elder Brady
No regrets
