Elder Brady's Motto

"I have desired that while serving a mission that I am to do God's will, not mine. If it is the will of God that I should spend my days proclaiming this Gospel and bearing testimony of these things, I shall think of myself highly privileged and honored. When the spirit of God is upon me, I think it matters very little what I suffer, and what I sacrificed - whether I secure the honor or dishonor of men, or where I die, if it so be that I can keep the faith, fight the good fight, and finish my course with joy, I have all eternity before me in which to enjoy myself."

Bryan's Baptism

Family!
Thank you for all those awesome pictures! I can't believe you guys are at Disneyland! We are way too close... it's kinda weird. haha. So close, yet so far! Well that's awesome we are in the same state and all and tell Michael and Ana Congratulations for me! I actually got their wedding invite and their picture was awesome!
This week we officially finished our zone shirts and delivered them to all our missionaries! They loved them and we planned a zone activity for earlier today and they all wore their shirts and we took zone pictures! It was a ton of fun. We played ultimate Frisbee and Volleyball and basketball. Good thing they were in all in the shade because it has been averaging 110 degrees this past week! Yeah that's hot. But it's not as bad for us because Elder Kunz and I have a car! So we do our best to give other missionaries rides in our zone because i remember how much i appreciated it when i was in Lancaster.
So we are having a baptism this Saturday! Like 3 months ago i was on splits with a member and we visited a less active member. Her name is Jen and come to find out, her husband is a non-member but is super cool! We have been teaching them ever since and she is now active and her husband comes and supports her 100%. He is not ready for baptism, but we invited their 10 year old son to and he said yes a while ago. So Bryan will be getting baptized this Saturday and he asked me if i would do it. So I'm pretty stoked about that.
Then another part member family is one that you know, the Sirias family. And Octavio (the dad) has now made it official for when he is getting baptized. September 8th! So a lot of great things are happening in our area. We have a lot of others that we are working with as well but have little issues here and there keeping them baptism. But soon enough they will come around too!
So that's the update for now! Things are going really well! Love you all!
Love, Elder Brady
